The Value of Expert Advice

As a business professional with a high focus on continuous improvement, I love supporting business owners and leaders in the growth and scaling of their companies.

A few years ago, I started my consulting/coaching practice, applying a coaching framework to consulting. Having worked with consultants in previous roles, I always enjoyed the conversations and the fresh perspectives that come with it. What I like the most in my business conversations is exploring what is possible, combined with self-reflection, goal setting, accountability, and most importantly, the trusted relationship that we build in the process. A coach/consultant outside your company can provide a more neutral point of view than someone internally.

Further, it supports the business leader and propels them to think outside the box while feeling safe to share any thought or idea. It is a relationship based heavily on trust, respect, and professionalism.

For solo entrepreneurs, having a business coach/consultant is even more important than for companies that have multiple stakeholders, as it is crucial to have a thinking partner to discuss certain elements of the business.

The business landscape is becoming increasingly challenging each day, with growing competition for customers, talent, and products. Ambitious business leaders understand the necessity of continuous improvement to grow efficiently and be ahead of the competition. While organic growth and minor changes can contribute to business expansion, assessing whether you are losing/gaining market share compared to your competitors is essential.

Here are a few questions to consider:

Do you aspire to grow faster and outpace your competitors, or are you merely catching up? What do you need to be ahead of them? Do you have the best team motivated to succeed? Do you have good technology that supports your growth? Or do you have the most efficient processes and tools to deliver more value to your customers in a shorter time?

These are all questions that business leaders continue to ask themselves, and coaching/consulting supports you in understanding what is possible in the first place.

Neglecting to invest in your team or failing to attract, hire, or retain top talent can significantly impact revenue. Surprisingly, many business leaders choose not to prioritize these aspects. The question arises: are you content playing small, or do you aspire to reach for the sky? If the answer is the latter, then I can assist.

I love helping ambitious leaders achieve high growth through innovation, powerful conversations, training, connection, and more. During our discussions, we unlock potential, identify blind spots and fears, and explore options that may not have been considered. Some of these options include team performance, KPIs settings, short-term and long-term vision, and clear goals and objectives to achieve the vision.

The advantages are even greater for those in the travel industry, as I have the benefit of having global industry connections and experience across many aspects of the travel business which can give you access to tools, strategies, and several ideas on how to grow faster while keeping product quality high. Some examples include procurement strategies and tools, product design and guidelines, sales strategy, technology advancements, process mapping, and much more.

As we explore possibilities, confidence in the feasibility of the vision grows, and the belief in reaching for the sky becomes more tangible when you have a thinking partner who believes in you. This is when magic happens – we believe more and more in the possibilities, working together on a plan with clear goals, objectives, and timelines.

For those concerned about the cost of business coaching or consulting or think they can figure it out by themselves, I encourage you to think of the following questions:

How much is it costing you for not investing in your business and not knowing what is possible in your industry? How much revenue are you losing for not knowing what and how to do certain things? How much time do you spend trying to figure it out by yourself? How much is your time worth hesitating to take a path to try new things?

These are all questions worth exploring. Furthermore, sometimes these questions may be out there, but not explored as we get taken away from doing things the same way or are too busy getting into the weeds of the business, versus making time for these conversations. Making time for business conversations leads to better decisions and implementation.

No matter whether you choose me or someone else, there are many benefits in bringing outside perspectives to support you, and your team in your business.
